Blood Diamond

Kyle and I watched the movie Blood Diamond. the most important thing they do in Sierra Leone is the RUF and child solders. i likes this movie a lot but it was just really sad and i can't believe that they really have that and will just attack and start shooting people.

Rwanda

this is a picture of Rwanda.

Most of the dead were Tutsis - and most of those who perpetrated the violence were Hutus.
Even for a country with such a turbulent history as Rwanda, the scale and speed of the slaughter left its people reeling.Rwanda has rejected the report, describing it as a "fantasy".

Map of AIDS in Africa

I got this picture at, http://www.liv.ac.uk/geography/research_projects/epidemics/Images/Africa.gif

AIDS In Afica

I watched a Video, Hidden Faces of AIDS (World Vision)

A woman in Malawi wanted her kids to die before her because no one was there to take care of them. It was really sad because no one should want their kids to die before them but it was probably the most loving option.

It felt like everyone had AIDS in Africa. I’m glad we are not suffering from AIDS. I saw that Africa had the largest AIDS population in the world.

Facts from movie
AIDS is the largest humanitarian crisis ever
3 million people die every year
250,000 die every month
57,533 people die every week
8,219 people die every day
5 people die every minute

But no statistic can help you understand the suffering
